Hello both.

Happy Diwali!! Hope your world is full of wonderful lights and fireworks! For a second I thought you were the real McSikh Tim!! Suits you. Love the slippers Sandy. Hope they last until you return.

Well the exciting elections are over and those of us that were here had a good weep. All pretty emotive stuff. Jelte and his friend were in Mexico, trekking to view cave paintings down in Baja. My sister who runs a restaurant in Prince Rupert was over to extend her summer. So we went over the border to play golf. Had a great time but we gave Tijuana a miss because of the drug related violence.

Back to a bit of work now and in two weeks we leave for EIBTM in Barcelona and a few days in Rotterdam. We are beginning to feel the pinch of the economic downturn in tourism now. Clients are reluctant to spend marketing funds until they have a clearer idea on how 2009 will turn out.

Love reading your blog. Fabulous photography and descriptive. Stay well. Big hug. Christine

Guys,
Thought I'd share my good news with you both. The biopsy I had on the scar tissue left behind by the chemo came back ALL CLEAR! Can't tell you how happy and relieved we all are. I'VE BEATEN IT! YEAH. Hope all is well with you, reading the awful news of the Mumbai bombings....dreadful. Nothing much on here, back to work next month which I'm really looking forward to. Busy preparing for Christmas at Penroy, done my shopping and all our cards already! So efficient. Max has his nativity play next week, all his class are stars! Cute. He has to wear white from top to toe. Happy travels and keep safe. Oh and, HAPPY BIRTHDAY for next week Tim! Love THE COLTARTS xx

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR TIM,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!
(sung by Max at the laptop!)
Guys, thanks a lot for your comment. Can't believe from reading your last update that you were in Mumbai and the hotspots only 24hrs before the atrocities began. Thank God you left when you did. Reminds me of an old teacher of mine who was booked on PanAm flight 103.....mercifully he missed the plane. 15 days on a Goan bech sounds pretty much like heaven to me...ENJOY! Where do you head after that? Went to see Max's nativity play yesterday, 'Born in a Barn' it was called. So nice, starting to feel quite christmassy now. Going to put our tree up at the end of this week. Got David and Penny Harriss and Ian and Julia Ball for lunch on Saturday. That's about it I guess, Nugs might be on later. Love to you both. Us xx
