Happy Canada D'eh

We join in some local festivities to celebrate Canada’s 145th birthday starting with a parade winding it’s way through town.

Tim recently became a Rotarian and helped build a float to generate awareness to protect the Ancient Cedars Trail; a hiking trail the Rotary Club helps raise money to maintain.

On to the Farmer’s Market which features tempting wares of local organic produce, tasty artisan foods, local artists, musicians and much more.

In the evening we attend a concert at the Olympic Plaza. Jim Byrnes and The Sojourners get everyone groovin’ and swayin’ with their soulful, true Blues, gospel songs.

Our day ends with a magical fireworks display. We are so blessed to live in a country that offers a quality of life unsurpassed anywhere in the world. Glorious and free. Now that's worth celebrating.
