Happy Easter

Joking aside (we actually gave up wine for a whole week) we start Easter weekend celebrations in Vancouver with a Good Friday service at the First Baptist Church, built in 1910.

Ready for a little bubbly in the lounge at the Wedgewood Hotel.

We attend the Vancouver Bach Chamber Choir’s Easter performance at the Orpheum Theatre.

The Orpheum Theatre started off as a vaudeville house in 1927 but now plays host to a myriad of cultural events including Easter Sunday church service which we also attend.

In the afternoon we stroll along Kitsilano and Jericho beaches. How blessed are we to live in such a stunning city?

What luck! Sandi spots the Easter bunny.

We round off the weekend and our stomachs at The Red Lion Pub with an Easter dinner of Shandys, Roast Beast, Mashed Potatoes and Yorkshire Pudding.
