Presenting Mr. and Mrs. Lovell

The Big Day
We wanted to wait until our professional photos came but so many of you are itching for a sneak peek of our wedding so here it is! We'll post some professional ones soon. Thanks to Aunt Marlene for taking most of these.

We gather at The Chapel across from Stanley Park in Vancouver on a drizzly, romantic Sunday afternoon. The guests take their places, the harpist begins playing The Wedding March, and after Sandi's dad walks her down the isle to meet Tim, Pastor Allan begins the ceremony.

The Vows
All that I am, all that I have, I promise to you. I promise to love you, honour you, care for you and keep you through all of the trials and circumstances of life. I promise to be faithful to you alone, as long as we both shall live. We do!!!

Tim seals the deal by kissing the bride to a loud, approving round of applause from the guests.

One particular chap, Sandi's brother-in-law, Randy, has waited a looooong time for this moment.

Lee, the mother of the bride, witnesses the marriage license.

Tim's twin sister, Tessa, signs as our second witness.

The Newlyweds and Their Families

Presenting Mr. and Mrs. Lovell
(Unfortunately Mrs. Lovell had to blink just at this moment.)

The Guests

Next to join the ranks, Shawn and Deb's wedding is coming up in July.

The Waiter

Edward gets honourable mention for his supreme professionalism, efficiency, friendliness, good humour and going the extra mile catering to our every need.

The Entertainment

The father of the bride makes a heart-felt, heart-warming speech.

Not to be outdone, the groom takes the stage with a self-composed Ode to Sandi.

The Fun

Some spirited bubble blowers transform the room into a magical wonderland.

The Cake
Our beautiful cake from La Baguette - one layer was Grand Marnier chocolate ganache and the other white cake with fresh fruit.
