It's been a while since our last post that marked the end of our eight-month trip and you might be wondering where in the world we are and what we've been up to. Following are some of the highlights. Stay tuned as we're about to kick off another adventure with a month-long roadtrip across America. We'll be leaving Litchfield, Connecticut bound for Whistler, British Columbia in early November and sharing our tales here once again.
IN AUGUST
We...
fended off bears in Whistler, BC (our other home).
partied with wildlife.
celebrated Sandi's mom's 80th birthday in Kelowna (she's Lee the Lady in Red surrounded by the family).
daytripped through Bristol and admired the view of the Clifton Suspension Bridge.
reminisced at the house in Bristol where Tim lived from the ages of one to five.
struck a pose in Broadway in the Cotswolds.
marvelled at the thatched roofs in Chipping Camden.
searched for Starbucks in Bibury.
polished silver back home in Litchfield with Sandi's visiting mom.
dined with sparking silver (thanks mom).
took in the sights and lights of the Big Apple.
watched the sunset from the top of the Empire State Building.
played with Max, Nugs and Gruncle Richard (Tim's 5 year-old great-nephew, neice and brother) on their visit to Litchfield from England and...
sure had fun!
